Friday May 15, 2020 is MPS Awareness Day. Hunter Syndrome is a rare and debilitating genetic disorder. It is a form of Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS II) and is characterized by significant bone and joint disease, as well as numerous other symptoms throughout the body. It is a rare disorder with only 40 estimated cases in Canada.
Please wear purple to support this family and bring awareness to MPS and Hunter’s Syndrome.
